These two are pictures of the same mushroom. After a few hours in the sun the cap was not recognizable anymore.

(The one on the right)




This lawn sub was one of the biggest I've seen anywhere.


shitty pic but oh well.

The gills are hanging below the margin on that lawn pic, indicating it's probably a Pan. Foens. Spore prints will clarify this.

yeah i agree about the one in the lawn pic but those boys popping out of that large pile of shit are prolly pan subbs. i'd wait for one of the crazy genius guys like gumby or toxic man to post, then u can be sure.

They are all subbs IMO. The gills hang below on subbs sometimes, if the cap is open enough. It varies from mushroom to mushroom, but after a certain point even subbs gills will droop below the margin, even when the cap is still belled.
And they look like they are from the same area too, so they once originating in the manure have spread to the surrounding grassy area.

edit: if you look closely at the lawn one that you claim to be a foe, you can see the grooves on the stem, casting doubt.
