I'd like to hear stuff like Tool, so I voted other, also crazy prog metal. Not true death metal or anything harsh like that.
And then some nice slow psytrance, the real type not that meth-fueled 100000bpm stuff. I figure that fits in with dance music.

60s & 70s rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, but mostly Death Metal(It reins supreme). So my answer is OTHER! house / indie / New Wave, 80's All SUCK, the 80s sucked in general only a few good bands in the eighties (just my opinion)

chill, rock, prog-rock, grunge, some metal... trance is good. I wouldn't suggest country, though. Or rap. I like country, but it doesn't fit in too well, and rap.. Well I don't really care for it.

I voted Other. I'd like to hear stuff like Tool and Soulfly and some psychedelic older stuff (Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young) with metal on the side. Guess I'll just keep listening to my own music.

Hip Hop and Downtempo are birds of a differnt feather...they should be in seperate groups. I would of chosen 2 if the option was absent from the possibilty of Ganster rap takin over shroomeryradio.

Depends on my mood, but I listen to a lot of hiphop (Common, The Roots, De La Soul, Immortal Technique etc...) I also listen to a lot of dance (Gatecrasher) and psytrance (Infected Mushroom, Lab 4) and...what genres would you place Tool and The Mars Volta under? They rock.

I did rock and I voted Jazz(Miles Daivs not elevator shit) but how about some nice classical here and there. Not much else renders the same depth and beauty. Listen to the 9th during the onset of LSD. I did once the music peaked when I did. It was so beautiful it literally took my breath away.

electronic rules!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I personally dislike how many of my friends that are girls always think they can just smoke for free because they are girls (not that I dislike them lol)...but sometimes when a bunch of people are over a female friend will ask my roommate and myself if we want to smoke....we say yeah sure, do you have any bud? And 95% of the time they say no. I'm usually like "...That's cool, I'll be right back" because I'm a nice guy. But it kinda pisses me off because I'm not rich and I buy top notch weed (I'm a poor student...lol) ...and this gold digga has the nerve to ask me to smoke without bringing over weed. And if I say no, I'd be looked at as a stuck-up asshole. Anyways I just wish girls would buy their own weed and match mine instead of always EXPECTING to be smoked up whenever they feel like it. Sorry if I appear to be a douchebag (I'm not ) - just my two cents.

Unfortunately Shroomery Radio died years ago
It was fun while it lasted though. I wonder if anybody has any of the shows archived... Even just some of the skits that were played.
