Dunking before putting in fruiting chamber?

Should I dunk my cakes after they are fully colonized before putting them in the fruiting chamber... if so, which is the best method to keep it all intact?

there are several teks you can read. it's possible to limit handling by leaving the cakes in the jars and adding water.

Yes, I understand this- but should I dunk them before I get the first flush?

Yes i highly recommend dunking before the first flush and before every other one.

Boil up a big pot of water and thow a plate on top of it and let it cool. Throw you cakes in there(they float) and use the plate to keep em submerged. After 6-24 hours put them in the fruiting chamber. Can add some h202 to the water for extra sterility.

I hear they are better dunked cold... so you say boil, put a plate on to cover till its room temperature cool, then put um in and then what?... put another plate (smaller) on top to keep um submerged while keepin the big one on top?
