Having trouble Identifying :(
    #4390013 - 07/10/05 05:10 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Ok guys, I live in southeast Texas and i found these in a pasture right out of the horse dung any ideas?

Okay guys, the sport print appears to be black and the gills are unattached to the stem. caps range from 3/8 of an inch to a whole inch and stems are thick and range from 1.5 millimeter to 3 millimeters thick also from 2.5 inches to 5.5 inches long. The top of the caps are white when first picked and bruise to a bluish color same with the stems. The caps are smooth too.
Ok guys let me know what you think. thanks

Either copes or antillarum. Copes usually blue pretty heavily, and I dont see a whole lot of blue there. Id say antillarum. Except maybe for the one in the middle.

After i took the spore prints, in a matter of 20-30 mins they turned very bluish/black.

Some of the prints look a little more like dark brown than black to me. When it comes to spore prints black = JET Black. But it might just be my bad eyesight or picture quality. Nice finds though.

i think you have a mixed collection of both;
Panaeolus antillarum
&
Panaeolus campanulatus

both are not active shrooms found growing from manure.
