In Theory...would it work, for the sake of curiosity, if you took full pint jars, birthed them as jars, grew mushrooms as jars, took flushes from them as jars, when you though they were exhausted, ducked them, then used those same jars to make casings out of? In theory,

i think you would need to spawn it to poo or another nutrient rich substance. From my uderstanding once all the nutrients in the cake run out there will be no more mushies.

Yea, of course, but the mycelium is still alive and functioning and they will rebuild their network, so it should work in theory once their re-hydrated and given fresh nutrients
