Another let down...I acquired 1/4 of high quality dried salvia leaves. I have smoked 5 bowls today and the ONLY feelings that Salvia has given me are: Anxiety, Hot/Cold Sweat, Dizzyness, Extreme Irritability (possibly because it's not working), sensitivity to heat/cold and noise, and a sore throat from smoking so much of this shit. I have a feeling that the amount needed to see visual would be more dried leave than you would ever have a desire to sit down and smoke. There is absolutely no euphoria or pleasant feelings associated with Salvia, it's like having an anxiety attack and I haven't even seen a visual. My opinion thus far of Salvia, Garbage.

Before you start labeling Salvia as garbage, take a couple factors into consideration. You may have simply received some bunk salvia. I've talked to a couple people who got some of it and nothing happened, then tried different salvia and BOOM... into space they go. Also, some people lack certain enzymes, or are deficient of certain enzymes or chemicals in their bodies or brain that prohibit certain drugs from taking effect. But most likely you got crap Salvia... My advice is, try again. if you need help, please hang up and dial your operator.
...In conclusion, salvia ain't crap, you just need to get the right stuff.

lmfao nicely said, i havent tried it but ive tried morning glory recently and the people here post the same bashing on morning glory as they do with salvia. first timers luck, the first 3 times i smoked pot i didnt get high.

a lot of people don't get off with plain leaves, that's whay they invented salvia extracts. It also isn't easy to break trough, it can take a few times.
Did you hold the flame on the salvia while toking and did you hold in the smoke for 20-30 seconds (it's important thnat you do that)? Also you need to take a full dose within 2-3 minutes. So yeah, it's quite tricky

It is clear to me now that I fucked up thinking anything positive would come from smoking something legal.

futhermore have you researched ANYthing ,about it......
it's not all a sales pitch,dude.....you have to take your time....
salvia works on a reverse-tolorance.....

Yes I have researched Salvia for quite some time. My technique was sound I assure you...I am positive this Salvia is quality. Maybe more experimentation is in order.

get some 10x, 15x, or 20x extract and smoke a big bowl of it. take the biggest hits you can and hold in for about 10-20 seconds. keep the lighter on the bowl as you inhale. keep doing this until you trip out. it will work if you get enough smoke into your lungs.

It's not something that will get you "fucked up" like beer or weed if that's what you're going for, salvia demands respect.

i've tripped 100 times harder off salvia than any other drugs. get between 10x to 20x and you won't be let down.

dude i can pull one hit of regular leaf off a good bubbler and be ripped to pieces. the key to salvia isnt really the x amount but the smoking technique and surroundings. Make sure your in a dark place with no noise and torch the shit out of a bowl. hold your hit for at least 30 seconds and up you go! careful tho, salvia trips are almost always full of anxiety (atleast for me) but it goes away quickly.

I have yet to try salvia divinorum but I have an ounce of leaves on the way and believe myself to be ready. I have researched the sacred plant for quite a bit of time, I even have bought and read a book soley dedicated to the diviner's sage. Even without expirimenting yet I firmly believe you must treat the plant with respect and it will treat you well in return. I even went so far as to order leaves instead of extract believing that a more natural, non-tampered with method more so honors the lady salvia. I'm sure many others feel the same way about this plant of the gods.

Researching it is one thing, but don't let it consume your mind. I never go into a salvia trip with any expectations because it can be disappointing. It's in a class all it's own, literally and otherwise.
Also let it be known that most people have a reverse tolerance to it. I took a residual bong hit because a friend couldn't finish a bunch of 20x, and I felt that. Took a hit myself after using plain leaf many times before, and it sent me out of this world. Now I can hit plain leaf and get even more high than I was when I hit 20x.
It's weird stuff. But if you'd like to think that salvia's garbage then you can think that. It's probably not for you anyways. Give it to a friend who's interested.
