I would have to say that a bull being in sight usually warrants for avoidance of going that far into the field IMO :P. Reminds me of the "What to do if a bull charges you" guide.

Bulls don't fuck around, dude. I wouldn't underestimate them. About a year ago, a friend and I went to a field, walked around it for a little while just looking for mushrooms, not doing anything to bother the cattle (well, I guess if walking around on "their" property is bothersome to them, then maybe not), but anyway, out of nowhere a bull just goes crazy and charges at us. I really thought we were dead, but we ran as fast as we could from the middle of the field to the fence and hurdled over the barbed wire on top of it. My friend's leg got cut up pretty bad and my clothes got torn up, but luckily we made it over the fence JUST before the bull got to it.

Moral of the story is: There's plenty of reason to be scared of, or at least cautious of, the bulls. Shroom hunting is one of those things where, in my opinion, it's much better to be overcautious than overconfident since the hobby can potentially be a magnet for physical and legal repercussions. I wouldn't consider it "being a pussy" as much as I'd consider it playing things safe.

I'm not bothered by bulls cuz my friend has a cow ranch and all his bulls are nice you can pet them and feed them out of your hand that's why bulls don't bother me
