Substrait amounts,measures?

I was just wondering if this sounded rite. This is the measurements i use for my substrait. For six jars as follows,Verm-4 cups brf.1 1/2 cups and,H2O 1 1/2 CUPS.I was just wondering if this sounded rite.I have had probs getting my cakes and,cassings to fruit.They collinize very nicely but only one out 4 tries have I Had success.I have been just retrasing my steps,triying to find the cause of my failures.Thanks to all my felw shroomers.

Well it sounds 'rite', or close enough....
This formula is more 'rite' -

1 cup vermiculite
1/2 cup brf
1/2 cup H2o


However much verm you decide to use...... use exactly HALF of that amount in BRF..... then equal the amount of the BRF with H2o.

Does that make sense?

It also depends on the strain- FOAF been using the Thailand Koh Samui spores from Ryche in
2/3 cup vermiculite
1/4 cup BRF
1/4 cup water
(per 1/2 pint jar, that is). Healthy growth I've heard, and no problems fruiting either.

Isn't that as near as dammit what he said just reduced six fold? :smile:

0.66 * 6 = 3.96
0.25 * 6 = 1.5

So, I'd say that was a good enough endorsement that those measures work.  I used them too and I got shroms. :smile:

Oh Cub, you joker you...  I see through the facade to a very wise man...  I've been a fool for thinking you made a silly error when all along you've been promoting thought and getting your point across by making others come to your conclusion.

Hahahah nope, I was just a little too lazy to work out the math. Thanks though, I figured it was probably about the same but wanted to suggest it because it worked for me.
