Is the bubbler even having any effect if its submergered in the thick perlite soaked water? Its not even water its like a perlite pancake batter texture lol .... n Idn bad day, wat do u think? thnks, lataZ (ps) I should move to geo lite huh?

not at all, i use perlite with no problems, it just sounds like you have way too much water in there, you should have the water halfway to the top of the perlite, and i put my bubbler in a jar with water, not under the perlite.

Na you can have a bubbler under the perlite. You should have about 2" of perlite and 1/2" of water in there. Make sure the tops sealing ok if it isn't keeping it humid enough. Can you see water droplets? If so it's probably humid enough. Also try misting the walls when you fan if you don't already do that, because it helps get the humidity back faster. Perlite will work fine, you just have to work out the issues.
