my pedros finally come home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    #4386954 - 07/09/05 04:03 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

When I was very little, my father had these monstorous cactuses in his yard, and they looked so beautiful to me, I'd just sit there and watch their flowers.... As I got older and learned the ways of shamanism, I knew exactly where I had seen those cactuses before. He had even told me what they were by their proper name when I'd asked. ....Its really no surprise to me what they were.

The Rest of the family isnt quite as pretty

So, these cuttings are heirlooms apparently. My father died about 4 years ago. So, amidst a sorrowful reunion with my grandparents and the rest of my extended family, I've come home bearing a small piece of what he left behind for me. It's found a nice family to live out its existance with.

Curious story.

It's stellar that you get to grow a cactus that belonged to your father and that you seen it grow throughout your childhood. Now you'll keep it growing for posterity.
If you have children be sure to tell them all about the meaning and the sacredness of this cactus so they'll keep it growing and pass it on to your grandchildren and so on.

I bet those babies will always have a very special meaning for you

That's a sweet story, I just ordered some San Pedro and Peruvian Torch seeds and can't wait to start some heirlooms of my own.
