 Suggestions for first-time LSD use...

Let's just say, hypothetically of course, that someone were to have a few hits of LSD and was going to take some in a couple days.
Anyone have some tips for a first-time LSD user? Already done shrooms enough, know what it's like to trip. It'll be dark out, and cold so outside isn't such a great idea. What are some good things to do indoors? Also, should I stay away from people who aren't tripping? Room mates won't be, although they know what I'm doing (and don't care).

First and foremost, have your cd collection ready, organised, and right next to your cd player for easy access. Believe me on acid, organisation comes in handy.
How much are you planning on taking? I just need a rough dosage so I can help you with what you are going to want to do ... on acid different dosages mean doing something completely different each time

One hit to start. Don't want to overdo it, I have no idea how it will effect me. I'm keeping a second hit handy, so if after an hour or so I'm not where I want to be, I'll drop another. Sound like a good idea?

Unless its amazingly high quality acid you shouldn't be too fucked on one hit. One thing I did find different about acid and shrooms is how clear you feel in your head. Acid made me feel very detached from reality, not in a bad way, just in a very odd way.

waiting an hour to drop an extra isn't a great idea, as by then the extra hit will be metabolised quickly and in essence just become a waste of 5 dollars ... either do one or two at the same time...
One hit is a good dose, though my first time was 2 hits, and i had a blast. I would say if you are really experienced with mushies to do 2 hits, but since you don't know the potency I guess lower is better.
If the hit isn't too strong, just chill with a friend, walk around, talk, etc etc
If it is of good quality then I'd say try to do something creative, like writing a song, poetry, videotaping your guys trip, drawing, etc.
if it is a hippy dose then you will probably just sit on your ass the entire trip staring at the blinding patterns  so it will do everything for you

Stay home and have a close friend near you to trip with. Many go as far as to say to keep a blanket near you (in the case of a real bad trip). Dont take more than one hit. Your talking about one of the strongest mind altering drugs of all time. If your blotter is truly REAL LSD (acid is often paper that is socked in 'shroom tea- you will know this is the case if you find yourself mostly laughing and not shooting at the aliens invading your room) one hit could easily be too much. And, belive me... bad trips aint very fun!

Bullshit, you have just about an hour to squeze that extra hit in, after that it will be metabolized out quickly, but an extra hit anytime you are tripping will be felt, and its very odd and for 5 bucks if you have a good hook up is worth a try, I don't know about your first time though.

More bullshit, I've had mushroom expereinces far beyond any I've had in the acid realm, acid may seem alittle crazier but you can get farther "out there" on shrooms in my opinion, this is basically up to the individual user though, so pop your hit and find out ( :

I've taken 7 hits of LSD, and I wasn't as far from reality as on an 1/8 of shroomz. If you can handle mushroom trips, then take both hits of acid. A mushroom trip is the most intense thing I've ever experienced. LSD is more like, fun in a way while mushrooms have been more soul journey's for me.

EXACTLY great way of saying it, I feel the same way
I think that acid is more powerful in a fun way, while shrooms are more powerful in an emotional sense, based on shit that's happening in your life. on acid i rarely if ever think about what's happening in my life, while my shroom trips are almost ONLY based on shit in my life, hence why i am more prone to bad trips on shrooms

if you've tri[pped shrooms then do both hits it just wont work as well if you take one then wait to take the other do both and have a good time trust me if your thinkin of taking two this will happen you will bekicking yourself for not taking bothyou will be saying damn i wish I took them both I know I could have taken it, acid is pretty much just like shrooms to me only lasts longer, of course i've done vial rinses before and since one of my best friends is my hook up I get to drop my own so i just go to his house and drop hits myself on gummy bears so I never really know how many I take anymore I just do big squirts. but it seems to me like its almost the same but acid just last longer and is a little harder, but if your thinking of taking two your gonna wish you had
