It's cool that you're having a good time. I'm sober right now, but I smoked with my girl friend for the first time. it was nice

Fantastic Toddo! I've been on a streak lately...good for you for starting your book! that's the hardest part...I have over 14 first chapters that I've written, and finally I wrote one I am satisfied with. Now things are going smoothly!! Tell me three words that describe your book so far?
thegatewaydrug....no you are definately NOT the only one.

Hmm...eclectic, quirky, adventure.
I love talking to other writers...what made you decide to write your book?

Elle, what happened to drinking with your in-laws was a big problem for you and you had to stop it?
Ohh, you stopped worrying about it? Good

oh, that's easy. Its a concept that I had and played with ever since I was a little. Me and my friend created a world around a computer noise...haha.
In 6th grade I was in a computer lab, and a button got jammed so the computer kept repeating "Yeep, YEEP, YEEP"
That day I told my friend about it. With a serious voice he said that if you say that it sounds kind of scary. The "yeep" was born. Wow...we took it so far. We made countless movies with video cameras, played countless games that involved the world of yeeps (aliens), and spen alot of time writting about the worlds they come from.
Unlike everyone I know...i don't think I lost the imagination I had when I was a kid. I feel like I have an even stronger one. I try to get that across to people thought my artwork, movies, and writing. When I'm writing...i feel like I'm just documenting what I'm seeing in my head. Like watching a movie play out...and during the movie I'm trying to furiously write down all the details. If that makes much sense.
What about you? What is pushing the concept in your book?

I also think that my interests in space and aliens stems of a childhood phobia of aliens. I was SOOO scared of them. My brothers would taunt me and scare me about how they would come and get me at night.
And in another way...i kind have always felt like an alien.

yup. Haha...I remember the first alien i saw was on a book. let me see if I can find that book cover. Anyways...i started to laugh until my brothers stopped me and said "no Todd, its not funny" then they went into what aliens do to non believers and what happens when you shine a flashlight in the sky, ect...
haha...wow...i was scared shitless of them until around middle school.

that's awesome!
Its so funny what fears I had when i was little. My grandma died when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade...but I was VERY close to her. It was extremely hard for all of us. My grandpa would talk about how he saw her walk around his house...and how he would feel her lay down on the bed when he was laying there.
Well, i used to pray to god every night.
"Hi god, i just wanted to say Hi and that I love you. If its not to much trouble can i talk to my grandma. Thanks! HI grandma!! I had sooo much fun today. I was a pirate for Halloween. I really miss you too. Just do me a favor. I love you so much but don't come and see me grandma. Ok bye grandma. Goodnight god."
i still remember it so well. I was scared to see my own grandma after she died.

yea... my childhood was pretty shitty as far as death goes. from the time i was 5 to 9 basically my whole family died. 3 grandpas (2 step but they were tight as fuck) both grandmas, 1 aunt, 2 cousins, and my favorite uncle. it was a bitch, thats basically where i lost all my faith as far as religion goes... seeing dead ppl wandering was always my fear, i probly woulda flipped out and tried to stab it or somethin lol

yup. I been around alot of death myself. That grandpa (who was awesome) died a few years ago. Just seeing someone you loved so much dead in front of you, cold as ice, really changes a person...
As for religion. My mom became a hardcore Christian and i followed from 6th-7th grade. I really read my blible...underlined, did all that stuff for a good 2 years. When I started 8th, i was still pretty dumb but i did open my eyes to how close minded I was becoming. Over a few years I slowly dropped the christian thing. I don't go to church...and my parents arnt has hardcore as they where.
As for what I believe in right now. Well, im just enjoying life more then I ever have before. I dont want to set myself to one idea or another...but I do have a feeling things are much crazier then we can conceive.
