Where to keep syringes?

I've read sometimes that people keep their spores in the refrigerator untill they are ready to use them. I don't really have that option, but I have mine in a bag in a drawer. Will this hurt the spores any? The temp of my house is about 74 degrees.

the spores might germinate at that temp.
a cooler place to store them...might be wise.

Prints will last even longer, and really have no purpose in the fridge since they arent hydrated and cant germinate. A syringe shouldnt even germinate, if made with sterile distilled water, but it does happen..thats the only thing the fridge would protect against. I havnt had any problem in a drawer though...if its a myc syringe it goes in the fridge, other then that I dont waste the space.

I keep all my prints in a dark cool place...not the frig.
I want them to last as long as possible.
I'm pretty sure keeping prints in 50 to 60 degree temps like I do...are better than keeping them in a room that reaches 70 or higher.

This is my I.C.U., lol.
my original fruiting chambers when I did cakes. If I get any casings that look suspicious, I place em in one of those tubs. Pretty much seal it up. Run a I.V. to it, fish pump into glass of H2O2. Have two exhaust holes plugged with poly-fil and breathable surgical tape. I placed my first casing in one after it's fourth flush just to see how long it would go without contaming, it's been in there over 4 months now. Still kicks out a shroom now and then. Have fruited casings with Cob Web and mean green without it spreading. Clean em outside with bleach after each patient is discharged, lol.

I keep syringes in the fridge which slows down metabolic activity. I have had a viable syringe after six years stored in the crisper of my fridge.
-------------------- Getting the most out of your casings!, A pinning strategy. Oyster Shell "Flour" $2 for 1lb. a hell of a deal Not what is overlay but rather what overlay is Gas Exchange vs. FAE "We all have priorities. I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"

I found that quite a few that looked a little "suspicious" actually turned out being fine. Didn't want to take the chance of spreading. Better safe then sorry.
Good Luck.
