A rather fruitful day in bellingham (pictures)

Well i drove up to bellingham to meet up with the shroom hunting master azurescen to hunt down some psilocbyes. It was a pretty eventful day which started off by checking a rather known cyan spot and discovering a BEAUTY patch of baeocystis. These are very meaty specimens, very glorious.
Heres another view of the same clumps with the two mature fruits on their sides to get a better view.
Here is another clump of 3 fruits
Next we ventured down chuckanut drive a ways to hit up a cyans patch that is living in a grass/blackberry bush habitate, very happy fruits there living in solitude.
To round things off a trip was made to recently discovered area by azurescen, there were many cyanescens here, too many to really document, but here are a few pictures.
Hope everyone enjoys the pics.

Gumbydood, those are not azurescens, azurescen is the name a guy from the shroomery i was hunting with when the pictures were taken. The mushrooms you are refering to are baeostiys and yes they do resemble lizards weilli.

I don't suppose those were near King MT. off Chuckanut? I grew up in Bellinghell!!! Very good places all over for cyans.Try Lynden and Custer areas or even Deming area out Mt. Baker HWY.

Ha Ha And those werent even the large patches that I have found since those pictures were taken! I am the humble servant of the cyanescens. they know that if they show themselves to me I will protect their patches and spread their spores far and wide... what more could a mushroom ask for?

hahaha meandering mushroom muncher you are indeed. Sucks that you have to protect your patches from other fuckers out there who dont treat the cyans with respect.

Those are xcellent pictures of beautiful cyans and baeos!
Can you describe what you look for in a cyan habitat. Are they usually farther off the beaten path or are they usually near established yards, hedges, etc? Do you find them in older landscapes or in more recently planted, cleared, or freshly chip mulched?
I have found some good clusters but not in a wide variety of places. Tips would be appreciated. In fact more pictures of the larger area around the finds would be helpful (no distinguishing landmarks of course ;-).

I have all those images actually on an old computer. Problem is it has no cdr. I would hook it up to the cable modem but it has no network card and was using some wacky adapter thing that i cant find. I Could put like 10 images at a time on a floper disk and get a few back up. That would also take alot of effort.....oi
