using potato/spegetti water for LC ???

could you use say the water from boilding potatoes or spegetti to make a liquid culture.. i know you can use the potoato water to make up a augar mix.. but what if you just put some spores right into the water.. or diluted.. cuz it would be full of starches ect.. just and idea..

Yes, you could add some dextrose or glucose too. But it will be cloudy so harder to spot growth and contams, thats why people prefer karo, and why people strain/decant malt/honey LC's
