 Strange days in Roboworld.

I've been MIA from the boards essentially for the last couple of weeks, peeking my head in now and then but not being anywhere near the postwhore I truly love to be. Just wanted to drop in and say hi, life is really weird.
Feels like I'm at a nexus, I'm officially an unemployed college graduate on the hunt for work. I have no idea what I want to do, what field, what kind of work, anything, so it's really hard for me to focus when I'm looking because there's just too much to look for.
Meanwhile my mother is selling the apartment I grew up in...all in all it's a good decision for her and for all of us in the long run but it's hard. Because on August 8th my apartment lease runs out and it's like...anything that was home to me is all going to be gone.
Luckily my friend Matt, who I was going to ask to room with me, asked me if I wanted to look for an apartment with him. So that worked out gloriously! Matt's an awesome dude of Irish descent who likes cooking breakfast and smoking tons and tons of reefer so I think we'll get along fine. Plus once we find a place, I may even have to look into growing things. 
How is everybody? And why isn't bf6 still updating the Naked Woman Thread?

You're from from ny? Okay. I am looking for a job. In the other internet window I have open, and the stack of classified sections torn from newspapers with circles all over random possibilities with no connecting theme whatsoever. My friend is taking care of the apartment hunt through his university's off-campus housing office. We're gonna get one with TV and internet included for about 1000 a month each hopefully.

Damn $1000 a month?? I am paying $385/month ABP, then again I am renting a room in a house in the suburbs......

I could find a place in Brooklyn and pay maybe 800 or 700 a month but I would much rather stay in Manhattan and in Greenwich Village in particular, and yeah 1000 is the cheapest it gets pretty much..

good to see you! life for me has been a strange climb myself, but its good to hear that you might sound like you probably have a handle on things 
sounds like all your life is stacked up on a couple buildings, and those buildings were pulled out from under you, leaving you to fall off to the side on new foundations... after the initail shock of landing, its always looking up

Being an unemployed grad fuckin sucks. I've sent out about 100 resumes and have gotten a humongous total of 5 call backs, and one of them turned out be a glorified pyramid scheme.
