white fuzz

I used the MMGG v3.2 (http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/3372) and I grew my first substrate/rice cake successfully. A few mushrooms formed but havent grown fully, only a few inches with small heads and thin stems. Then the cake started forming a white fuzz, and now the mushrooms also have a white fuzz on them. I read a few other posts on this and one post suggested it was a temperature problem and it needs to be colder, but I also recall the MMGG saying something about a moisture problem, but i couldnt find the section in which it said that so idk if i need to increase or decrease the moisture or even if its the temperature.

If anyone knows what to do, your help would be much appreciated.

too much humidity? What's your RH at and are you using the terrarium listed in the mmgg or are you using a variation of one of the ones found here?

It's normal, its a sign of high humidity, but it's not otherwise indicative of a problem.

Not enough air exchange. Could be fuzzy mushrooms, but read up a little about cobweb. See if that's what you have. Cobweb likes stagnant air.
