Hurt my Amazonian, But Helped my B+
    #4375227 - 07/06/05 11:49 AM (11 years, 5 months ago)

well as some of you might have read, some days ago I crumbled my myco bags after 3 weeks. The reason I did this was because they were doing really good (Amazonian) and then it just slowed down, So I crumbled it up really good like a mad man. Well 2 or 3 days have passed and the B+ is now at 40% it was at like 10%. Amazonian on the other hand seems to be hurt by such a shock, it is still the same as it was a few days ago. Do you think it will be able to recover? I crumbled the B+ really good again
( I know I am pushing my luck) but I want to see if it will make it go faster. If not I'll let it recover with out messing with it.

I use jars, not bags, but lately I have found that they colonize a lot faster without shaking them at al..l

I have some quarts of b+ and gt. My b+ exploded with growth after a shake, but the gt were stunted and are still recovering like a week later.

Does the grain look wet or mushy in the bags? If not the amazons should recover...if they dont recover after a shake then there was something wrong with it to begin with, be it water content, contamination or something else. Cubie myc, of any strain, as long as it and the jar are healthy...will recover from a shake or two. Do not exceed two shakes though...one at 10-20% is good..then another at 70-80% if they need it to finish up. The more you have to shake and break up the grain though, the more recovery time needed and the longer it will take so if everything is colonizing evenly, dont do it.

Its true? You mean its your opinion... 99% of the pros move on to bags because of a number of advantages over jars.

There's is alot of good reasons to use a bag. One there is 1.5 pounds of sub trait, two there is a Self healing injection site AND a patch,3 you can fruit from the bag AND after the first flush you can case it.

I know jars are the "norm" but bags have a place in cultivation and good one at that. BTW have you ever used a mycobag?

Well B+ was slow and I was sort of mad at it, but this thing takes off ones you crumble it, wish my Amazonian wasn't mad at me. I told Amazonian I would never hurt it like that again.
