Way to go  .... you guys banned a friend of mine the other night because you thought he was me evidently
His usermame is Hill and he just called awhile ago telling me someone banned him, he doesnt even live in the same town as i do
Ive been trying to get him to start posting here for a year or so now,

The Title of the Thread was OTD Mods...maybe you've forgotten..but I am an OTD Mod, and I was the one that banned your puppet account(s). So I assumed that would give me justification to respnd to your post.
Please explain why your account and your "friends" account are associated?...enlighten me.

Maybe they use the same ISP and got in on the same port or something...I dunno. Do you know Rono or did you just hit the trigger? Did the 'puppet' abuse the forum rules in any way?
I know I used to be banned from an IRC server if someone else from my ISP was banned & connected on the same port.

Yes, grow puppets are permitted as long as they stay in the grow forum. The second they post elsewhere they are fair game for banning.

What the hell is the point of a grow puppet on an IP address that can be tracked... Some people just don't get the Internet.. And if they use a different IP address for a grow puppet what can anyone do about it if they post elsewhere than the grow forums...IE: no one cares.

I think only admins (mods?) have access to the list of IPs, so a bored cop can't just go matching up users and grow puppets.
If you post personal information under your non-grow account then it may be good to keep things seperate.

They can't see the IP addresses, but they can see what IP's related to specific users have logged into other accounts. Its the super secret puppet locator tool!
