Tropical Storm Cindy

My first post here guys, hello to all. I'm in N. Mississippi, and it has been the driest May and June I can remember. The only real rain we got was the last tropical storm to come through a few weeks ago. The normal daily afternoon rain showers just haven't been happening. Looking at the radar on the weather channel has me smiling right now though. I hope no one gets hurt on the coast, but by the time it makes it here it's just going to be a nice forceful full day of rain tomorrow. My fields need this liquid refreshment soooo bad. The turds are so hard you'll twist your ankle if your not watching your step real close. The hunting all over the deep south should be magic this weekend.

AHHH!!!!
I am going to check at 3:45am tommarow morning.
I went to check this morning after all the rainfall we had and the field was completely harvested already.
I did notice for the first time the farmer put the cows in the field over night. (to eat the shroom? and replace spores?)
Anyhow, I greatly appriciate the farmer since he obviously knows whats going on in his field.
Everyone have great luck hunting, hopefully i get to see a full field for my first time.

I seriously doubt that was the intention of the farmer when he released cows into fields.
-------------------- I went to st thomas and camped out ontop of the island... Despite my entire family being poor all my life, the land is priceless. I was chased by haitians in the main city charlotte amalie when my girlfriend and I got some cocaine for free in a bar and mixed it with alcohol, to form a stronger drug. With such confidence at 2am, we walked the 4-5 or so miles down to the beach where the african slaves lie like lions waiting on tourist prey. The war isen't on drugs... the war is on the causes that influence people to abuse drugs. drug-abuse is a by-product of the system and much like radioactive waste occurs from utilizing nuclear power, drug addicts with drug-problems will need to be properly disposed of, like the decaying radioactive waste produced from nuclear energy. -i2ancid

Man I sure wish that storm would have slid Houston way.... Dennis is on the way.. May not want him round. I guess we will just have to wate and see what the wind blows in! Had a couple POP UP stormes today from the back side of Cindy but it was not even enough to wet the ground! Hope no one gets too wet but we sure do need it!

Didn't really get the massive downpour I expected for N. Mississippi. The storm tracked East of the Miss/Bama state line. The feeder bands did get us a fair amount though. Should be good enough to go hunting tomorrow. I can't wait. I'm 0-4 on my outings so far this season. With Dennis coming this way in a few days too, confidence is high.

Just saw your pics Ynot. Georgia looks like the place to be. And you have more rain coming. I had hauls like that last year. The same fields have been bone dry this year though. I'm going this afternoon...we'll see.
