There have been so many suposed Pan subb posts lately (many being from myself aswell) and I think it's about time we get everything put out in the open concerning the difference between Panaeolus subbalteatus and Panaeolus foenisecii. I know there has been similiar discussion but none have went completely in depth. I myself am new to mushroom identification and am confused with this difference and I'm sure many others are. So please all the expirienced hunters help us out. The one difference I'm pretty sure about is that Pan subbs have jet black spore prints and Pan foes have brown.
