i have seen oysters and reishi grown on pf cakes, i have no personal experience with this method though.

You could, it depends on what type of mushrooms they are.. and if you are going to use the PF Tek for 'edibles' don't expect anything wonderful in the way of yield, fruit size, and such.

absolutly it can be done, shataki needs wood but reishi can be done on cakes well

shitake can be easily grown on regular pf cakes. no wood needed. i use plug spawn .
