Wow, thanks I Was The Walrus. That made my night. I just got done watching the VH1 show on Syd. That's a great show, right there. I love the part where Rick Wright talks about seeing Syd for the first time in 7 years at the Shine On sessions and David Gilmour talking about how the song came about.

I also just got done wathing the See Emily Play video without Syd as well as the Scarecrow video. Now I'm getting some of this other stuff. I'm going to love this. Thanks again man.

Yea I watched all of em. I think the best is jug band blues....very rare, and you can really tell syd is starting to lose it.

Thanks for this.

Barrett has inspired me on numerous occasions to begin writing songs again, and just last night when I was watching those videos it hit me. Pink Floyd and Syd are two things that never fail to send chills down my spine, no matter how stoical I am feeling.

Roger Waters states the reason pretty bluntly when talking about "Breathe" on DSotM... simple, linear lyrics.. And he felt that he learned to accept lyrics like that from Syd.. to not throw those things into the bin out of self-consciousness, but to always hold onto it.  :thumbup:

Anyone see "Tonite Let's All Make Love in London"? I'm trying to decide whether it's worthy of downloading. I have the soundtrack, and I don't like that very much except for the Floyd tracks. That "BBC Omnibus Documentary 24-11-2001" is basically the same thing as the "Behind The Music" though, so you guys might not want to download both.

"Jugband Blues" was super rad! These videos are terrific. Thanks again.

they are similar but the BBC Omnibus is much better
