tupperware containers

Hey agen. ive been readin alot and in a couple of places they say dont use a transparent container for your terrerium.. is there n e problem with that>??

Transparent containers are fine except for the bottom sides. Light induces fruiting and if light gets gets below the substrate surface, you will have shrooms growing on the bottom where they are hard to harvest. Some black plastic on the lower part of the terrarium should solve the problem.

I use a transparent rubbermaid container you know what I mean. The only draw back to this I believe is that the shroomies wil not have light coming from 1 source (e.g the sun) so they won't grow straight up but all over, resulting in a lot of fatties....... if you want the ideal lookin' shroom a dark container with a hole in the top to allow light in.... me on the other hand I don't care.. all taste the same!
