i had 3 out of 9 100% colinized cakes with 2 or 3 pins , one cake had a pin an inch long or so. i stuck all 9 100% cakes in the fridge over night on tuesday, put them in the grow chamber wednessday morn. temp has been around 76-80 with a humidity of 92% or so. the big pin i talked of grew a lil and now seems to be turning black, abort i assume. the smaller pins are growing a lil bit. not black on the tips yet so im hopfull. what i was wondering is how much light should they get? and think i could have a few for saturday? and the perlite at bottom of my grow chamer is a lil bit to watery, more like soaked. what should i do or watch for since i added to much water?

i would give them as much light as possible to initiate pinning. I wouldn't put the in the fridge. As far as the extra water and the perlite.....I don't use perlite but try pumpin some out or soakin it up with a towel or something. good luck.

they shouldnt need more light, 2 to 6 hours is fine. the fridge isnt necessary. not much you can do about the too much water problem. 92% humidity might be a little low, cakes like 95%+, try getting a mister and mist them 3 times a day. try fanning more.
be patient
currently, AFOAFs cakes took 9 days to pin.

Ya know, I have the exact same problem, I got a 3 inch pin...I just opened the fruiting chamber today and it was fine, no black or nothing, twelve hours later and the fucking side of it is a dark blue color, should I be worried about a dark blue color or only black? And I am pretty sure I handled the spot where it is turning dark blue. Ya never can be too careful ya with these, ya know.

Have patience.
You need three things to initiate pinning (which you have started). Light, Drop in CO2, and Drop in Temp.
What type of shroom are you using?
Are you fanning your shrooms daily, or do you have an air system (CO2 exchange)? Are your cakes on the perlite, or are they on something?
I think you do not have enough air exchange.

Dont Worry about Dark Blue, that is just how they bruise. If you touched the shroom in that area, dont worry. If in doubt, just pick it. If the Blueing spreads, you also may want to pick/harvest.

the cakes are equador, next batch in week or 2 away from birth is thi some shit. they are sitting on the soaking wet perlite, the tops of my cakes did not colinize because they dried out thanx to mmfilter disks, i fixed that for the next batch. but i put the uncolinized parts down first, they soaked up h2o and are starting to colinize again. i just carfuly picked some contamin off the bottom of one of the cakes. if cakes get contaminated even just a lil bit while fruiting or just before are they still eatable fruits?
