Phish had found alot of spots past fall due to very hard work which makes it easier for him to find them even when they aren't readily available in most other spots.
Even when he did find them, like he said, only one or 2 were present when usually multiples of 5 were a possibility.

Let me rephrase: I found shrooms simalar to that weilii in hot48yearolds sig. I didn't know they were hard to find. Next time I find those I'll post some picks.

not all of them, some of the weilii I have picked look like azures and some have the wavy caps it just depends

most weilii that i have seen have more pointed ball like caps that curl in at the bottom a little, but some of the fully mature ones have grown wavy like in my sig.

The more mature the mushroom, the more open the cap will be and that is why they tend to be more wavy with older fungus. The primo specimens will just barely be open almost still touching the stem with a slight veil( how ever you spell it).

That's awesome man, I thought I had completely missed them for the spring season. I thought I found one on a lawn a couple of nights after the rains, but I was on my way to eat with my girlfriend and it was real dark. But Weilii never look exactly the same, and I thought no one had found any. The Pan. subbs were blowing up the other day so keep your eyes on those horse fields.
