Ok i saw Mr. Pinks Idea...looks great but is huge
i want to build something on a smaller scale
now concerns are:
1) Humidity
2) Air Exchange
3) Light
4) Sterility
-----------------
right????????????
ok 1) Humidity...easy a ultrasonic humidifier
2) Air exchange...now i guess i can use an air pump or a fan??? right? WHICH DO YOU THINK WOULD BE BEST???
3) Light...ok *first i am using a walkin closet so heat might be an issue*
so should i get: a) growing light b)floresent light c) other please explain
4) Sterility...i saw mr. pink used used a hepa filter
ok no prob
now for my questions,
1) how can you pump out the CO2 but not the humitity
2)how do you control heat
3) i want to use the procedure of humidifiying clean air right?
so i should use 3 sections
1st) hepa filter (in sealed container)
connecting to a 2nd container with the Humidifier (or ultrasonic humidy) then connect into the 3rd section..the terrarium
Now am i correct or do i go from humidy->hepa->terrarium
now in the third section i will use a fan (unless someone has a better suggestion) to get out the CO2 out (i am a little confused about this part)
i guess i will use translucent containers like rubbermail (unless a better suggestion comes)
and i will use timed switches to automate everything
NOW CAN SOMEONE FILL IN THE HOLES
YOU GUYS/GIRLS ARE THE BEST
THANKS
CONAN

This is for a terrarium right? All you need is a cool mist humidifier hooked up to your terrarium. Put some co2 holes near the bottom and fill them with cotton balls. Cool mist humidifiers give air exchange. For lights you barely need anything.. 3 christmas lights will work fine. You dont need all this elaborate stuff.. Like filters and fans and such. As long as you some h202 in your humidifier water you should be fine.

you said H2O2...that is hydrogen peroxide, is that so???
ok so i put the humidifier right in the terrarium?
if you do that, how do you adjust the temperature in the terrarium
as for putting holes in the bottom isnt that where water collects from condensation???

Before my friend tries to answer your questions, let it be known that he is no expert at any of this. He is learning each grow just like all of you. He was pretty fucking to suprised to see a post addressed towards him. He guesses he has finally made it in life :)
1)Just alternate the timing of the cool mist, let it build up humidity, then switch it off and kick on the exhaust fan when humidity begins to drop. This might take some trial and error. Actually, it will definitely take some trial and error.
2) I leave the whole thing at room temp (73-76) which works just fine for fruiting. I incubate at 86 in a seperate area.
3)I have no clue. I don't know if other people have done this before, but I figured the cool mist can't promise clean air by itself, so a HEPA is a must if you have contam problems (which I do)
Just go with a FL gro light or regular FL for a light. I would think you need a pump and a fan if your terrarium size warrants it, but I also think optikal trip has a point. Before you spend any money, just try to KISS and make it simple. Unless you have major problems like I do, you really don't need all the "elaborate" stuff as he put it.
Two questions thought optikal trip: How do you ensure your humidifier pumps clean air AND Do you realize H202 is reduced to regular ole H20 by heat and light soon after you dump it in the water?
2)
