Why are my cakes pinning on the bottom! well, at least they are pinning, :).

should i flip them over or what?

The closer to the water supply (humidity). The better they like it. Are they siiting on perlite?

they will just grow down and then outwards, and emerge from the underside of the cake. nothing to worry about. the flush will probably be massive :-)

they are sitting on a grill like thing which in some places is on the perlite and in other is 1 cm above.

i like the sound of 'massive flush'
