could be but theres no way to tell from just that pic. I'd guess no since I've never heard of any subbalteatus from garden soil. Its a really tricky mushroom to id even with a perfect picture for most people it seems. Many mushrooms share the 2 tone coloration like that. get a sporeprint, describe the stem and the shape of that cap for more far-from-expert opinions.
