i have had about 30grams of San pedro and about 30grams of pervian tourch(DRY) now for about 2-3months. I have been waiting for the perfect time to ingest this...and the time has come (:))!!!!Will it still be as potent as 2-3 months ago??? If me and my friend combine the two cactus's and make 1 tea from it, will we feel strong effects??? I have never taken this before. Does any one know of any good ways to ingest this....without the gross taste? Should we take some syrian rue as a combo?? I am soooo excited!!! I asked a friend on the net, this question and he said San pedro = BAD TRIP(but what i heard it's the opposite)!!!!!!!

My understanding is that the mescaline content of dried cacti remains the same when stored properly. I always refigerate it after I dry it, and it seems to keep it's potency. Don't fuck around with tea, or any other kind of cactus drink, they are all nasty, and the taste will last through the whole trip. Go to a health food store, and ask for the biggest gel caps they have, pack the dried cactus powder into the caps, and drink them down with cold water. This should do the trick for you. This is only enough cactus for one trip. Your friend will just have to take your word about how good the experience was.

yeah, i dunno.... just go to www.spiritplants.com & poke around (or dmtworld or the hive)
ya, the teas can be sorta funky & sometimes sorta slimy...
generic tea is just simmering with vit C or lemon juice several times & combining liquids & chugalug, glug, glug (burp)...
if it's powder, ya, you can cap up the stuff (tho it may take quite a few big capsules to ingest like 10 - 20 grams of cactus powder) or stir it into something sour like grapefruit juice...
if ya got chunks or chips, ya could chomp 'em down staight or dunked in lemon juice... (for peyote, we used to make a tea of the buttons with a squeeze of lemon juice, then chew the buttons with grapefruit juice chaser... brrrr, what a bitter snack...)

oh, and the syrian rue --- well, most reports indicate that this should be fairly safe...
it should "lower the threshold" for a mescaline trip...
and it may make vomiting a bit more likely (how would you be doing up the rue?)
