My fiancee is seriously considering leaving the army to be a cop in Ontario. I don't know how I feel about being married to a cop, but he knows that his work gets left at the door... as it does now.

:shrug:

You have to really, really want to be a cop to be a good one. You can't do it half-assed. Military, however...that's a little different. :wink:

Being a cop doesn't mean you have to be 'anti-drug'.

I wouldn't mind being a cop. When I'd find people with drugs I'd just take them, I wouldn't arrest them or give them a ticket or anything.

Thought about it back when I was younger, but eventually learned that it would turn me into a stressed out asshole, with all the paperwork and regulations you have to follow. Most places these days won't let you be a cool cop. You have to follow all kinds of guidelines and the cop cam watches what you do when pulling people over.
