above baseline yes, but not at peak.
nothing to report except easier sustained concentration, and the relative perspective on any arising distractions or phenomena is that anything can and does happen - and yet the concntration can be maintained detatchedly - which is a good objective at any time.

this is not an intentional habit of mine, but I might just swing into it.

normally I do it at night un-enhanced

Last time I tripped (on homemade chocolates!) I attempted meditation during the extremely rapid come-up.  I think it was just prior to peaking, although it 's hard to tell- time and space ceased to make sense shortly after.  Anyway, I sat comfortably cross-legged, resting my hands out on my legs (like a pseudo-buddha pose), closed my eyes, and tried to blank my mind.  It didn't work well, I was overwhelmed by intense CEVs.  After concentrating on the "void" between the images, I was able to "fill my mind's eye" with darkness, essentially clearing my thoughts.  This is when things got really weird, and I now believe I started peaking at this moment.

It appeared as if I were looking through a tunnel of flesh, like a vein or some other kind of organic tube.  There was a clear liquid flowing through it, and I was moving through the tube as if I were riding the current.  It felt like I was inside myself.  I don't know if this was a phallic image (clear liquid could be semen?) or what, but I had the abstract emotion that the liquid was blood or energy.  It was like watching my life force move.

This is not a typical thing for me to experience while meditating, although I've rarely ever meditated while tripping that hard.  Hope that's what you were looking for, and welcome to the board!  :mushroom2:

Drink Puink Soda,

Sounds like you went back to the time where you were in your mother's womb. Very interesting, I was listening to Stanislov Groff lecture and he mentions many similar expereinces.

i just tried meditating on 4 grams of dried ecuadorians today. didn't work. it seemed that there were more interesting things to do then meditate, like think about this new perception of reality that i found.

For me trying to meditate on anything but the small doses, one or two grams of shrooms would be futile. I can hardly sit still when I'm stright.

I have meditated a few times on low doses of shrooms (1-2grams).

It makes for a different experience IMO.
It's hard to describe the difference.
It was more introspective than normal, easier to stay focused on my breathing and not focus on thoughts.

I haven't tried meditating on high doses yet.

I have tried meditation on about 1000mcg of LSD, 5g. of shrooms, and about 3 ft of San Pedro. On acid and shrooms I could not acheive clarity. On the San Pedro clarity was no problem, but I could not focus very well...I kept wandering.

Yes, I've used psychedelics/entheogens in connection with meditation and contemplative prayer since 1973. The result at times has been 'classic' religious experiences.

Lama Anagarika Govinda once said that he never fully experienced his training in different traditions of Vajrayana Buddhism until he took LSD.

Ram Dass's Guru Neem Karolie Baba took LSD and said "It is useful if you are in a cool place, and your mind is turned to God."

Whether theistic or non-theistic, psychedelics can aid one if one is balanced and has a degree of spiritual maturity. There is no one recipe, more is not necessarily better, and there a point of diminishing returns which means that there is a such thing as taking 'too much.'

Those were all fairly high doses.

Try doing it on 1/3 to 1/4 of what you were using.

I would not want to waste my time with less. I admit that I feel like meditating while like this is also a waste of time. When I am sober meditation is easy...I like to do it while walking. I prefer to be out hunting, fishing, or maybe camping when I am tripping. These days I only trip about 3 to 5 times a year so I don't want to do something as mundane as meditation (which I do everyday anyway). Who here likes to fish while on acid?

it's good if you can catch any (LSD),
(yes I do but not on big doses)

but
regarding any of these as wasting time is a strong attitude as if only particular outcomes were acceptible, & only particular goals respectible.

I like any excuse to fish. But I have only hunted on LSD . That was many years ago. I had maybe my most unexplainable event while on psychedelics, and to this day can make not heads or tails of it. I would relate it but, most of you already think I am flakey. :mushroom2:
