Help! Do these Cubans look healthy to you?
    #4356785 - 06/30/05 09:19 PM (11 years, 5 months ago)

Hi!
Strain: Cubensis "Cuba"

brown rice cake cased with vermikulit/coco and some ph regulator, H2O2 bubble, relative humidity 90% temp 28C.

I found some yellow-tone-mycelia on the casing as the pins set(so I suspected it to be chrysosporium, yellow mold).

During the growth of the pins, the color became more green so I thought: trich or olive green mold. then the shroom start growing really fast and the spores covered almost all the hats.

The pics dont really show the color tones (the area where no mushrooms grow)

Some hats hae fluffy mycelia growing on them, I wonder: is it cubensis mycelia from low humidity or could it be disease?

they look fine inside, and smell very right, some light green stripe on the layer between the spore releaseng lammella and the above mushroom tissue (not all specimens).

I am drying them, but a little bit unsure if I should eat them. Any one who can help?

I really dont wanna lose these beauties

Cubans?  :smirk:

They look fine. The dark color on the caps looks like dropped spores.
