B+ colonization??

I was just wondering how long you guys usually wait for B+ to fruit? I mean I've heard they're easy to grow and grow really fast? But my Eq's are already starting to pin (after one week) and my B+'s arent. Conditions are: 91% humidity - constant. 75-77 degrees. day light plus my desk lamp worth of light until i go to sleep (usually from 7am until 11pm). Constant air exchange (humidifier).

Another thing I'd like to note is that the pins are only growing from under the cake (or the top were the verm layer is). Is this a bad thing? I dont even see pins on the cake..

My grandmothers B+ stayed in their jars for a total of 25 days. They were 100% colonized after 15 days but she wanted to give the ol'e "wait for invitro pins" thing a try. Well they never appeared by day 25 so she birthed them. All of them fruited within 5 days of being in the terrarium. (80-84deg@~90-95% humidity) manual fanning 4 times a day. She had read much info regarding the importance of invitro pins appearing before birthing with cakes. This never happened (with thai ks pink buffalo, b+ or treasure coast) but all of them pinned/fruited within 4-5 days after being in the terrarium. The yeilds/flushes dont look to shabby either.

B+ refused to pin invirto for me too and they took a while to pin cased, but the wait was worth it...

I did 6 jars of B+ which colonised 100% in 10 days, but I left them for a week longer - they didn't pin much invitro, just little bumps but took off once birthed.
However they were innoculated with a isolate myc syringe, so it would be a bit quicker than germinating spores; you probably wouldn't get 100% in 10 days with a spore syringe...

But, hell I could be wrong; someone with more exp. might know :wink:
