What hallucinogen do you guys find to feel like the longest trip?

I've only done shrooms, but I've had some trip that seem like two days where they only took 4 hours.

What's it like with other things like acid and salvia?

all i can say is i know shrooms are worse than LSA, salvia is only a short high, not sure how much it distorts time though

For me, LSD and Shrooms both seem like forever in the trip but once the trip is over it seems like it went by in an instant. Salvia sometimes feels too long while on it but only because its very weird and I want to come back to reality a lot of the time.

If you want a really long trip, travel close to the speed of light for a while and return to earth. Much more time will have passed than you would expect. (not to mention everyone you know would have aged alot more than you)

its more than just the substance; its the dose you take and your mindset. if you reach a full level 5 state, time will be utterly meaningless no matter what substance you used.

that said, ketamine is always one for making me feel like i'm tripping several times longer than i actually am. and salvia; the first time i did it, i had to check the date when i returned to reality.

yeah, i guess i based the topic of this thread on that theory. best thing i could come up with to describe it though.

I was for the most part wondering if salvia feels like it takes a hell of a long time or if it seems to pass by at a normal speed.

or if there are any psychedelics that dont mess with time...

if moments fade more slowly, and stack up together, you can experience something for a longer time, then jump into the future and back again.
on psychedellics, I find, that sensations and thoughts that would have faded in a fraction of a second last many seconds, and so co-exist with other stuff in the mind that also has not yet faded.

the secondary effects of this slower fading:
1. gravity effect - slow fading of physical body sensation adds up to weight or pulling.
2. fractal visuals - slow fading of natural fragments of vision overlaid geometrically.
3. repeating thoughts - slow fading triggers to thought sequences retrigger the same thoughts.
4. visitors or entities - slow fading of our own personality masks and the intended "others" for whom those masks are conversational expressions.
5. visual wall paper cartoons from smoothed subunits persisted accross a visual field (eye or head movement) then crunched and extrapolated (another kind of smoothing that we do) through our thought and memory processor and sustained even more fully - repeat and you get the full wallpaper effect.

6. deja vu - jumping back and forth in a multisecond frame stack of moments all equally now.

Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself.

Damn, I remember one shrrom trip, my first one, where my bud was driving (youthful mistake, tripping and driving), we circled a block for what felt like literally 45 minutes, it was about 7 or 8. I would say shrooms, however I am trying san pedro next week, and i hear that is upwards of a 12 hour trip.
