new toy

I just added a new toy to my Chamber. It is a reptile temp controller but the unique thing about it is that it measures temp from a remote sensor on a wire. The main unit is plugged into my aquarium heater. The controller gives heating range in small incremints so it should work well dialing in the temp. I'll let you know how it works

Hey....I use the same thing. Been using it for about 2 years now...it's worth every penny :)
It takes some time to get used to it...but once you do...you'll never use anything else again :)
Good Luck!

It is called a reptile temperature controller---25.00 from thepetplace--------The thermostat unit of the controller plugs into the wall and the aquarium power cord plugs into it---the crumby aquarium thermostat is kept on a constant ultra-low and the reptile temp controller controlls the temp by turning the blanket on and off-----a temperture monitoring probe is on a long cord and fits through a small hole you drill in your chamber
