The Ingredients....

Hey people of the shroomery, need a question answered real quick because im about to start my first grow, which means today or tomorrow im going to get the jars boiled and start heading down the long road of growing your own shrooms.

The question is how much water do you put in the jars? I know its 1/4 cup of Brown Rice Flour, 1/2 cup of vermuculite, but then how much water? Im asking this because ive read a lot of different methods and im confused, they are as follows...

1) Slowly pour water into your verm/BRF mixture into a small puddle starts to condense when you tilt the bucket or whatever your mixing the mixture in.

2) you want to have 1 part BRF, 2 parts Vermuculite, 1 part water. (1/4 cup BRF, 1/2 cup Verm, 1/4 cup water)

3) You want to have 60 c.c.'s (the measurement on the syringe) which equates out to about 1/3 cup of water.

Thanks for your time guys and gals of the shroomery, am wondering whats the best method or right one in mixing your myc grow jars.

2:1 ratio.

So...

1 cup verm.
1/2 cup brf
1/2 cup water

And it doesn't matter how you mix them :wink:
