I am spawning some cambodian cakes and want to know if the myc of this strain looks diff. than that of an amazonian strain.

Cube mycelium is straight across the board, the difference lies in substrate moisture, content and culture health. If I have a nice isolate showing rhizo action on a prime substrate, it's going to look a bit different than an underperforming isolate on poor substrate with bad moisture content (i.e. possibly gray/cottonish) Does that make sense? White is white though.

To find a place to live between the negatives and positives.

Different ssubstrains of the same strain will look different too. You can have cottony growth, linear growth, rhizo growth, or anywhere in between. Should look very white though and somewhat similar.
