In my last year in college i was growing weed in my halls of residence... looking back at that time, i recall feeling a warm atmoshpere in my room all the time.
Plants seem to create friendly vibes, and i think it would be amazing to have a plant or two in a room where you trip.

I have two tea plants(camellia sinensis) in my room, some catnip plants, a few morning glory vines that are taking over my room, and a few other various plants. It's like a junge and I love it.

Sadly my two plant friends have been moved out for summer vacation. I do miss their presence. I had a bonsai but it died. In the future I plan to learn the art of Bonsai, so I may choose for myself the type of tree and its shapes. Bonsai trees with exposed roots over rocks is the coolest.
I also had some camellia trying to grow but I think the seeds were too old and never got anywhere. Have you successful made tea from your plants Steve?

Some plants that i think are very mysterious and would be highly intersting to look at and sit near hwile tripping is a house plant called a "wandering jew". It has puple/green leaves, looks shimmering and drapes over the sides of the pots nad look very cool. Another plant is the annual plant called a Coleus. Thye come in many many differnt colors and very bright colors too, but have no flowers, it jsut the leaves iwth the color and the leaves often have interesting shapes.

i have 2 ficus, one larger and much more exciting than the other, 2 sago palms, one paper palm, a fukien tea tree(very nice to look at),a cypress tree, and a couple others than i cant remember the names, i bought a couple on the internet and 2 at walgreens, the rest i bought and created myself from home depot, theyre all outside because for now my room is small enough, but when i move im bringing them all inside, bonsai was my first hobby, before i got into all aspects of mushrooms, not just eating them lol, oh i forgot i also have a giant sequoia(redwood) that i bought online, im letting it grow in the ground for about a year so it has some good growth to trim, i cant wait for that one to be ready, ive always wanted a tiny giant sequoia lol.

Tea seeds are VERY fussy to germinate, so don't expect to get them to sprout to easily. I gave up on them and just bought plants. I'm a little leery of harvesting the leaves too soon, but I have made tea from my Spearmint, Peppermint, and Catnip plants which reside outside of my house now (and are doing much better now.) Camellia Sinensis is pretty slow growing so I'm not sure when i'm going to harvest it, or how I'm going to process it.
