Is my Outdoor Done For?
    #4348765 - 06/29/05 12:55 AM (11 years, 5 months ago)

I have an outdoor bed that's about 5 days old. I have been watering/misting it basically everyday. The other day i checked it and something had stirred it up a little. Kind of mixed the top 1/2 inch casing layer into the substrate. Now i just have a casing/substrate mix on top, with a small amount of straw on top of that. Is there any chance for fruits, even though my casing is no more? Should i still water the patch, or will it hurt the exposed myc.?

The Poo is used was already colonized when i put it out, so i was kind of hopeing for pins by now (day 5). Maybe since it got fucked with it will take it a few days longer.

bump

anyone have an opinion on the watering thing? The only reason i want to keep watering is because it's hot here now, and they need the water to keep from drying out. But I want to know if the watering is preventing pins from forming?

Mushrooms can handle the watering, it's better than letting them dry out.
