fish tank heaters usually have built in thermostats. They aren't calibrated for exact temperatures but you can turn the controls up and down slowly to attain the water/incubator temps. You should have a good thermometer to do this. Mine came with good instructions on attaining the desired water temperature. Basically, you put the heater in the water with the control turned all the way down, unplugged, for about fifteen minutes. Then plug in the heater and turn the control up until the little light comes on that says it is heating. Then check the temperature of your incubator every hour or so and turn up the control very slightly each time until the temperature is reaced.
