okay my casing is already being covered in mushrooms but i have a few spots that seem to be ahead of the rest and teh veils have broken. is it alright to go ahead and pick these without hurting the other mushrooms. the parts that are already ready have about an inch between the other mushrooms. also only one side pinned real good the other side has light pinning but no big clumps and are more spread out. should i just go ahead and pick the whole flush and hope for an even flush. I myself have a feeling that the pinning on that side is just kicking in late for some reason. one side was done with crumbled verm cakes and the other was whole brown rice. is this why?

perlite does not absorb water, it just holds water in micropores on its surface. it will not aid in dry one bit in my opinion. sure you can harvest the ones that are ready and wait for the others, just be careful as you pick. grab as close to the base as you can and use a twisting motion when you pick them. don't know if the brf or brown rice would make a diff as far as pinsets or not. good luck peace

so is it alright to just always pick the mushrooms as there ready. i have heard some people say it doesnt matter. as long as it doesnt make a big difference in my final yield i dont care.
