LOL, pasturing bulk h/poo (with ease & no mess) is a tough nut to crack.
This takes some doing, but is well worthwhile, for bulk growers.
Get a dead upright freezer, or refrigerator from a appliance repair place. (usually FREE for hauling off).
Get a small ceramic heater (like a Pelonis))
Rig heater inside the freezer. You may also have to rig thermostat, depending on type electric heater used.
You will also need a probe type thermometer.
Hydrate h/poo, place in bags ( http://www.uline.com/ProductDetail.asp?model=S-123&ref=154 ) , or use plastic dish pan type trays.
Fill freezer with bags, or covered trays full of hydrated h/poo.
Adjust internal temperature to 170F, in freezer.
Check the internal temperature of the h/poo with probe, after a few hours. It takes about a day, or more, for internal temperatures to get to the right range.
Once internal h/poo temperatures (inside center of bags, or trays) reach 150 / 160F range, adjust thermostat to maintain that temperature & maintain for 4 to 6 solid hours.
After that, allow h/poo to cool to room temperatures & it's good to go - as substrate.
This may be the wrong forum to post this in. Moderators please feel free to move it - wherever.

No way is it the wrong forum, we all speak the bulk language here Very cool Agar, I had no idea those little heaters could get that much mass up to temperature. So, who wants to split 5,000 Gusseted Poly Bags with me? (minimum order) How are the bags?
*edit* Maybe it's 5,000 minimum order on the custom ones only.

You can order 1000. They ship faster than lightning - also.
Besides on-line orders, they will do CC orders - over the phone.
Freezer is insulated better than a stove & has an air tight seal.
Little ceramic heater, with fan makes it like a low temp oven.
Place an open jar of water in the freezer - while its working & you will not lose moisture - because of the tight seals.
Sumbitch gets almost like a sauna bath, inside.

If you had a chest freezer that opens on top you it could double it up as a fruiting chamber too. Just dump spawn in straight on top and mix it up. Since your transferring is minimal to should keep out contams.
agar- What power is that heater?

Where do you live now?
This would work in a tent, if you have an extension cord long enough to plug in someplace. This is actualy a cheap method. It just takes some doing - to put togather. A freezer in a spare room or garage - doesn't look out of place.
Matter of fact, a dead upright freezer is about the best fruiting chamber - one can have.

1500 watt http://www.webhelper.com/wholeearth/pelonisheater.html
Upright dead freezers work great, because they have built in racks & a drain in the bottom.
Yup, one could do double duty, pasturize, spawn, incubate & fruit - all in the same freezer.
A coolmist mounted on top & piped in with pvc will provide 85% rh, plus fresh air exchange.

you could have a freezer grow in your living room, bed room, shed. Anywhere a freezer will fit. And you can rig a pad lock up to most of the with 10 buck and a trip to home depot to get a latch and lock.

would this heater work? it says that it has a safety overheat switch that prevents it from getting to hot.
this is a great idea, i am thinking about doing alot of these if this heater works and i can find enough of these. also something i thought of is using dead ice freezers like you see at the convenient stores whoa check this out http://cgi.ebay.com/CERAMIC-HEATER-50-WA...1QQcmdZViewItem
--------------------
also how many freezers would you need to process 130 cubic feet of sunstrate.. how big of a pile do you even need to end up with that much substrate?
