From start to finish - your record?

Not being a person who likes to wait for things, I am trying to find the fastest possible method of growing. From start to finish. Currently I have my method at 21-30 days from start to finish using 1/2 pint verm/bfr jars, TiT and the PMP. About 14-21 days for full colonization and another 3-7 for fruiting of first flush. This was done using the PESA strain.

I have heard stories on here of people going from start to finish in less than 15 days. My question to you is this: What is your record? -and- What method (and strain) did you use? As much information as possible would be great!

On verm/dark rye pf cakes innoculating with 2cc LC Koh Samui, my fastest cake colonized in 7 days. It sat in a styrofoam cooler on top of a tri-layered towel on top of a reptile heating pad set on low. Dunked for 12 hours, rolled, birthed. 2 days until pinning, 3 days til the first pick.

If im adding that up right thats 12 and 1/2 days. Unless you add time for the LC which takes it to about 5 days. but why not just keep a constant LC?

there are people on here who have done faster im sure. Maybe a G2G transfer with wbs, cased optimally you could get down to 10 days with optimal conditions maybe even less. Air flow wasnt optimal on my fastest, could've gotten it down to 11 days probably.

did you crush the rye or purchase it in flour form? Will the rye flour be more or less potent do you think?

i purchased it in flour form from albertsons. it was like 3lbs for $3. I would assume that it would be more potent if you ground it yourself by a little bit. Im not sure exactly how you would get the endospores gone. Maybe a 24 hour soak so they germinate, drain, dry in calcium chloride, then grind it up? Or would powderizing rye, then just going through a reuglar PF method PCing for 60min take care of endospores?

just to let you guys know, make sure you get "dark rye flour." I amde the mistake of using "organic rye flour" the first time through. They colonized fast as fuck but would not fruit hardly at all, and when they did, the pinheads would be transparent and never grow past 1 inch.
