I finally found some Psilocybes in Seattle!!!!!!
    #434380 - 10/23/01 04:38 PM (23 years, 1 month ago)

First ones I've ever found! if I had a digi cam around I would post some pics but you guys would probably laugh at me :) . They're quite small. Found them in one of those long flowerpots right outside the window of a restaurant on University Way, definitely the last place I expected to find mushies. I picked a few real fast as I walked by on my way home cause they looked intriguing, I got them here and thought they looked very much like Psilocybe stunzii I had seen in pics, and I noticed a slightly blued veil on one of the stems. So I cut off a couple caps and got them on paper to print and ran back down to the restaurant to get the rest. There were 2 ladies having lunch right next to the window watching me pick a bunch of shrooms out of the flowerpots outside, LOL. I wasn't sure if they were psilocybes at first, but I got them back home and can see some definite bluing now at the base of the stems. Crazy shit, I didn't even notice any woodchips in those flowerpots, they were just growing in potting soil. Sorry for the long post, but I'm pumped now, this made my day, even though there probly isnt even enough to get high :p, 20 little ones. The cyans will be next!

I wont laugh, I promise. I would be in awe, as I have not found any.

Do the cyans appear very frequently in the protland area? I really want to find these, but I cannot seem to find the right areas.
