Creative uses for spent cakes...

Could one case spent PF style cakes and get results? Could you use the myco culture to jumpstart another substrate? Contamination may be a risk, but isn't everything? I hate to see something that has done so much be cast away as refuse...

well, you could them up into little cubes and boil them on low for a little.. then you could drink the stuff and get sorta high. OO, or tak em all, and crumble em into a compost pile. even better...

U need to add some sort of nutrien since all the nutrient in the cake?s are spent..try to crumble it up and spawn some dung/compost/straw..

crumble, mix them w/ wet manure, and throw them outside

I always throw my cakes into my compost pile, it really seems to help speed up the composting process. I haven't seen any mushrooms pop up yet, but I wouldn't expect to until next fall.
