My new grow kit produced the most blank shrooms ever, i ate a great deal today, maybe 20 grams fresh, i tell you i hardly felt anything at all.
I bought grow kit from the dealer beforehand and it was real nice, but this one something wierd about it, my guess is this, its been a very hot week, my room is in the attic and the roof gets all the sunlight so its real hot in there during the day, maybe even in 30s C. do you reckon high temp might be the cause?

I think fresh dosing is the cause. 20 grams could easily dry out to 1.0 dry gram. Also, what substrate does the kit use? 1 gram (assumption) from a sub par substrate = no trip. Just my .02

It definatly wasnt the temps. I dry my shrooms alot higher then that, as do many others. Many grow in those temps too.
Direct sunlight or blacklight used? Any sort of UV light? If not, it probably was just a subpar substrate, and to small of a dose. 20 grams isnt all that much depending..

My advise is to never eat fresh mushrooms. you never know how much to eat. i ate 60 grams of golden teachers wet and i felt a slight stone feeling and a stomach ache(from being so full). so i waited 2 more hours figuring something would happen and it didn't. so ten grams later and still nothing. i felt like i had just wasted all those mushrooms without the result i was lookin' for.
Grow kits are cheap and aren't ideal. if you want great mushrooms then don't buy a mass produced kit. they add whatever they can find at the cheapest prices that will grow mushrooms. your main problem is lack of nutrition. feed your shroomies better and they will treat you better.

na nah, substrate isnt the issue, its RYE by the way, and the dealer is a local man, he delivers the kit personally to my door and as i said the last one from him was great....

If the shrooms seemed watery or even soggy then I can easily see it being possible for you to have eaten a low dose of waterlogged shrooms. As someone already said, they could be very low weight when dried.
