In the absence of polyfill, could tyvek be used?

In a tub setup, could you just securely tape a piece of tyvek over the hole you made in the side of the tub?

It sounds like it would work. But why couldnt you get polyfil? go to wal-mart and buy a pillow... all the polyfil you could ever need.

I would not recommend the Tyvek when using the Single/Double Tub teks. I am assuming that is what you are referring to. The Tyvek will not give near the air flow that is needed for the grow to be successful.

As Pcubmycol stated, poly-fill can be had at any Wal-Mart or craft store for about $2.00 per bag. The bag will last for a long time to come.

Don't cut corners. Get off to the store and do it right.

Good luck.

I would think the holes might need to be a little bigger.
