yeah thats way to fucking fast for myc to show up.i think i remember the numbers right but i might be a tad off, it takes 5-7 days for the spores to germinate and 1-3 days for first signs of myc. so on a normal grow it takes 6-10 days for signs of myc. 1 day i would suspect cobweb.

its kinda hard to tell but it looks like your BRF might have just settled. yeah i cant tell shit from those pics.

if it is in a small spot wait a day and if it spreads crazy then its a contam. if it is a contam make sure to go over your sterile procedures again. common newb mistakes are sucking unclean air into the syringe to shake, not sterilizing needle in between jars, not wiping the inside of the jar off before dry verm layer, etc. etc. just double check sterile procedures.

you dont need the humidity for the colonization part, and drop the temps to 84-86F. no light either.

i cant really see anything from those pictures, mycellium or contam. Its obviously not myc, but the jar just looks like a normal uncolonized jar to me. all i see is a layer of golden vermiculite at the top and then the rest of it looks just like verm coated with brf. Have u been using lysol often? One thing i did once was i guess i was spraying a lot of lysol around when i was innoculating, went to bed and woke up the next morning all confused because my jars were all white. It took me a couple seconds to realize that it was just dried lysol on the outside of the jars...

does the possibility of cancer sound good? not saying it would but vineger is alot safer than lysol sprayed around mycelium and absorbed into mushies that you consume. lysol in the area is okay lysol in the growing containers is bad.

i just spray my desk real good before i inoculate...could that be dangerous to the mycellium at all? i mean growth-wise? i dont really mind if i just end up eating some lysol, because i have to use it all the time at work anyway and if its gonna give me cancer then i guess it will anyway.
