 Drying on monitor

Someone on here recommended drying cubes on your monitor.. I tried it, on a paper plate, just left my monitor on for 48 hrs.. Had the best results so far.. stems broke when I tried to bend them.. This will work great, until, I find that dehydrator @ Goodwill..

Funny you mention this, I just did this with some super thick outdoor cubes as an experiment. The monitor was only on 8-12 hours a day, but it did the trick in 48 hours. I placed them directly on there. A+ to the monitor tek!

I did it with KSSS that had completely sold stems.. With hollow mush I'll bet it would be even quicker!

did you cover the plate with anything? would partial fan drying for like 12 hrs then monitor for 12 cut the time in half? Do you need to keep it dark or is some light ok and did you notice any potency decrease.my buddy wants to try it out but wants to maintain the potency(never sacrifice potency)thank you!

its hot as fuck here and we are cheap or at least try to save money when its under 80 at night so i run a fan in my room. I set some pf's by the fan and they dried in 2 night. but if i had a shit load i would use my dehydrator.
this is what happens when you slow dry. Spores on the shelf

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

It's pretty humid here, so fan drying takes like 4 days. I kept a fan ponted at the monitor, and it took about 48 hours. I didn't cover them at all, just put them on a plate, and looked at 'em every once in a while to make sure kitty wasn't playing with them. I knew they where done when the stems broke instead of bent...

damn me and my high tech flat screen, i got a dual monitor setup with a CRT as well... its just in my closet

would it need to be dark while drying? does it matter one way or the other?

This is my favorite way. I have a flat screen too, I use the back of the TV set,dry air, works great!
I lay the big shrooms right on the little grate in back, then I fashion a little box of tin foil with holes poked in it for aborts

oh but they will pay for it in some fashion! It may not be readily apparent like he gets aids later in life but eventually it catches up and its a bitch when it does.think of a shady mofo that you know and study them and you will see what i am saying. BTW my buddy fan dried for 12 hr then back of monitor and they were super dry. now they need to make some BIG-assed monitors!
